The Minor Arcana ~ Wands

Hover over the cards to read their properties.

Wands symbolize the element of Fire – the divine spark that emerges spontaneously from nothing and has the power to alter and change everything it touches without being changed itself.

Wands also represent the imagination, which we use to expand our lives creatively. From virtually nowhere, ideas are able to spring forth in order to create something new.

The suggestion of movement and action ignites our endeavors and allows us to launch new ideas successfully. However, there is always the danger that impulsiveness can create situations of counter-productivity.

The Wand relates to the staff of the Magician, who through the power of his imagination can conjure things into being.
